In our two hour online workshop we will break down four types of forgiveness:
- One time incident
- Hurt incurred over a long period of time
- Current repeat offenders
- Forgiveness of self
When we are caught up in a situation where we cannot forgive - that is heavy. It is toxic and eventually will make us sick. How cruel is that? We are the victim, yet we are the ones feeling all of these horrible destructive feelings milling around our body and brain. When we cannot forgive, we are stuck in a moment that is defining our future.
Empowering ourselves to take charge of these feelings and emotions is the gateway to freedom and peace.
Following this insightful workshop you will have a new set of tools to handle forgiveness going forward and also a different perspective on what forgiveness actually is.
Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitudes regarding an offence, lets go of negative emotions such as resentment and vengeance (however justified it might be), with an increased ability to wish the offender well.
